A dope friend of mine by the name of Roy Matz dropped his new Single ‘Whose Life is’ on Spotify yesterday. To show my support to a genuine nice, cool and amazing artist that is currently coming up, I’ve choreographed a small piece on his single! Go check out the full track on Spotify! 🙌🏻👏🏻 @roymatz .
.
It was a pleasure working and performing this piece with Joris. So much potential in this dude. Crazy mind who’s not afraid to combine and try new stuff! You inspire me bro! Already looking forward to our next collaboration! 👀 @jorisfrancken .
.

Also shoutout to @perrellex for filming and putting up with me asking to change the music 10000 times haha 😭🙏🏻 Ps this was filmed before quarantine!

I love teaching the next generation. Giving them the power to play and step up. Giving them something different than what they’re used to training. It’s not only the moves, it’s the energy and intention that they need to learn. So this video is for YOU! Stay powerful, my loves. We need more of you!

Have you ever wondered what it is? A dance? A sport? An art?
It is to fly, to bound, to try and fail and try again, to share excitement, to encourage, to laugh and to cheer together. It is powerful, it is elegant, it is pole dance.
.
It feels truly liberating and motivating to freestyle along with your polebuddies and to see everybody shine in his or her specialties. Let go of thoughts and allow the pole to clear your head. .
See you in the Arena.

Choreography - Be Yourself by @iamdanileigh
.
This was the kick off of a new season @thespotvzw and the energy in class was 💣🧨
.
I usually don’t choreograph on these type of songs, but I felt this one and I like to step out of my comfort zone and see what it brings.
.
S/O to everybody who came to my class and especially to these boss ladies @stienheughebaert, @liesedv, @hannahlozie and @belgianbadbitch for bringing that heat in there own way! 🔥💪

Superproud to present my all-time pole dream: ✨The Russian Split✨ 180°, parallel to the floor. .
I have been working hard on this one, which does not only require flexibility but also a lot of strength in your hamstring and shin muscles among others. Two years ago I was too eager to learn it and I injured my shin due to overload. Now I restrict myself to do it maximum three times per training session. I still have difficulties to fully straigthen the back knee and to get it low enough. But you know, practice makes perfect 😉. Some tips for those training on it: start with easier variants with other grips such as twisted grip. Train your footwork on the pole (grabbing and pushing). Start the split with small angles, bend your lower knee a lot while pushing into the pole, take your time in lowering the split. Finally, placing a mat in case you fall down can be comforting 😉. I would like to thank my polemates for the energy, and fun we shared on this freestyle training day @saar_pd @shantysarief @aixagabriela_ @axlceb and @alpha.polesport and to @perrellex for sharing his creative vibes and for the awesome video that will follow
