✨ Today’s Expert Session was exactly the conversation we needed. ✨

We had the incredible Sarah Auda join The Strive Circle today for a deeply inspiring conversation about leadership, relationships, and one important question:

Who are you pouring into — and who is pouring into YOU?

As leaders, business owners, parents, partners, and friends, we spend so much of our time pouring into everyone else that we don’t always stop to recalibrate.

Today was a reminder to ask ourselves:

💭 What relationships feel draining?
💭 What do I need to step away from?
💭 What doesn’t feel good anymore?
💭 What do I need to start saying NO to?

Two takeaways that are sticking with us:

“Say NO fast and say YES slow.”

And…

“NO is a complete sentence.”

👏 Thank you, Sarah, for creating space for this important conversation at exactly the right time — as we head into Q4, prepare for the holidays, and look toward a new year.
@sarah_auda @threebeatsconsulting
Sometimes finishing the year strong means doing less, protecting our energy, and being more intentional about where we choose to pour it. 💛

This is what The Strive Circle is about — growing our businesses while also growing as people and leaders. 🤝✨

What does a career in digital media even look like five years from now? That’s one of the reasons I love teaching in USC Annenberg’s Master of Science in Digital Social Media program.

DSM sits in a space between media, business and technology. Students aren’t studying social media as a set of apps. They’re learning how digital businesses grow, why people behave the way they do online and how new technology changes the way brands and organizations communicate.

What makes it especially fun is how quickly the industry changes. AI is changing search. Platforms are changing their algorithms. New business models are emerging around creators and online communities. What worked a few years ago may already be outdated.

If you’re curious about building a career around where media is going next, check out the MS in Digital Social Media at USC Annenberg. ✌️

The best business meetings don’t feel like meetings. 👏✨

Yesterday’s Strive Circle meeting was a perfect example. 💛

Yes, we laugh.
Yes, we have fun.
Yes, referrals happen—and they happen naturally because we genuinely get to know, trust, and root for one another.

But what makes Strive different is what happens beyond the referrals.

We talk about what’s REALLY happening in our businesses.

The challenge we’re stuck on.
The decision we’re trying to make.
The thing we’re struggling to figure out.
The opportunity we’re excited about.
The support we need—but might not know how to ask for.

And then we show up for each other. 🤝

We share ideas. We make connections. We brainstorm. We celebrate wins. We offer perspective. We open doors.

Because building a business is so much better when you’re not building it alone.

This isn’t just a networking group where you collect business cards and hope someone remembers what you do.

It’s a community of business owners who genuinely want to see each other succeed.

And honestly? We have a LOT of fun doing it. 😍

Curious what a Strive Circle meeting actually feels like?

👇 Comment “VISIT” and come check out one of our meetings.
Come meet us, experience the community, and see if Strive is the kind of business circle you’ve been looking for.

Your next great connection might be waiting for you. 💛

Last Thursday with the Boss Ladies…and a few TEAM men too!
Thank you to our wonderful subs for joining us!

We’re so lucky to have a mortgage professional like Gina Costigan in our group. Gina shared her expertise, helped us better understand what’s available in today’s mortgage world, and most importantly—helped separate fact from fiction.

This week we’re switching things up with our Boss Ladies Social, but we’ll be back on Zoom:
Thursday, August 27
9:30–10:45 AM
Are you—or someone you know—looking to connect with an amazing group of women in the Conejo Valley?
We’re currently interviewing for:
• Insurance Agent
• Photographer
• Travel
• Family Law Attorney
• Chiropractor
It’s more than a networking group—it’s a group of women who know each other, support each other, and genuinely want to see one another succeed.
Know someone who might be a great fit? Send us a DM!

Today, @perryaston came over to help me set up my Claude AI cowork… and somehow that turned into a 7-hour coworking session. 🤯

Then @laurenmichellesandidge joined us, and before I knew it, we were deep into building systems, testing workflows, and completely geeking out over AI.

The result?

✨ We’ve already built systems that are giving me back about 10 hours every single week.

Ten. Hours.

As a business owner, that’s not just time saved—it’s more time to serve clients, grow my business, create content, and actually have a life.

AI isn’t replacing what I do. It’s helping me do what I do better.

If you’ve been putting off learning AI because it feels overwhelming, consider this your sign to start.

And if you’re looking for someone to help you set it up the right way, book a call with @perryaston @crowdboost_ . He’s incredibly knowledgeable, makes the process simple, and will help you build systems that actually save you time. Highly recommend! ✨
