God has literally pulled me through every single thing I’ve ever faced.

Some of it He led me to.

Most of it? I got myself into by making dumb decisions I KNEW I shouldn’t make… and doing it anyway.

And He still pulled me out.

So I can’t keep riding this roller coaster between doubt and obedience just because THIS season is harder. Just because THIS calling requires more trust. Just because I can’t see where He’s taking me yet.

God has been faithful through the messes I made AND the mountains He called me to climb.

He never failed me then.

I have no reason to believe He’ll start now.

Learning How to Grieve Day Eighteen

Some of the pain that comes with grief is unavoidable. But I’m learning I don’t have to add MORE pain to it through the choices I make while I’m hurting.

So I’m asking myself… what can I learn from this that might help the next person walking through it?

Everyone tells moms, “You can’t pour from an empty cup.”

But sometimes actually FILLING that cup is harder than it sounds.

Because even when we finally get a minute to ourselves…

We’re thinking about the kids.
The schedule.
The groceries.
The laundry.
The thing we forgot.
The person who needs us.

And somewhere in all of that, taking care of ourselves can quietly slide to the bottom of the list.

I’m learning that filling my cup doesn’t have to mean escaping my life.

Sometimes it looks like finding small ways to feel like ME again.

To take care of my body.
To have energy for the life I’m living.
To feel confident.
To create little moments that remind me I matter too.

And this season, I’ve been working on something that speaks so deeply to that.

I can’t share it quite yet…

But in 5 DAYS, I finally get to show you.

And I have a feeling a lot of moms are going to understand exactly why I’m so excited about it. 🤍

Me: I could really go for another energy drink…

Also me: Girl. You literally JUST had one. 😂

Then I remembered…

ENERGIZE is my energy drink.

Except instead of the crash + crackhead jitters, I get clean, steady energy and can actually function like a normal human. 🤣

Apparently my brain still thinks “energy drink” has to come with questionable decisions and a heart rate of 147.

We’re evolving. 😂⚡️
