Late July – August 2026

I headed to Perth for my holiday this year, and it turned out to be an amazing week of running and sightseeing! 🇦🇺🦘

During the trip, I ran the Accura Perth Half Marathon and finished ahead of my 1:45 target. It was a wonderful experience running in Perth in August, breathing in the cool, crisp air in the morning while taking in the views of the Swan River.

I also joined the Perth Frontrunners for a relaxing 5.8 km run in Kings Park on Saturday morning. It was great to run with the group and meet other runners in Perth.

Apart from running, I made sure to explore Western Australia’s natural beauty and wildlife. I visited the iconic Pinnacles, saw endangered wildlife in Dryandra Woodland, and, of course, took a trip to Rottnest Island for the obligatory quokka selfie.

What an unforgettable week in Perth! 😄

I think one of the most underrated things in life is keeping promises to yourself. I first heard this idea in a @chriswillx podcast and I love it.

“Every time you say you’re going to do something and don’t, you cast a vote for the person you’re becoming.
Every time you follow through, especially when it’s hard, you cast a vote in the opposite direction.”

Something like that anyway. Three days ago I signed up for this ultra. No specific preparation. No perfect plan.

Just a decision.

The race itself wasn’t the valuable part. Adding another piece of evidence to the pile was.

One day there will be a last adventure, a last race, a last opportunity to test yourself.

Until then, I’ll keep sending it. Till the wheels fall off 💯
