Thank you for an amazing week here in the studio.
Thanks to everyone who's visited Perthshire Open Studios!
You brought your curiosity, your questions, browsed, created, chatted, enjoyed the garden & joined me for tea.
Thanks, you've been absolutely amazing for ten fabulous days!
Needless to say I didn't managed much painting but enjoyed a splash of paint or two, when there was a moment.
I'm now off to sharpen my brushes for the next one . . .

When artists don’t show themselves properly!

My friend @juneable posted a pic of a recent scene she had painted. With no guide for scale I thought it was just a wee thing until I visited her studio today!

It’s actually a beautiful big canvas!

You can check it out and the work of lots of other local artists on the Perthshire Open Studios trail, which runs until September 13th June is Venue 49 on the Plum Route at Lochty Industrial Estate (you can make a willow dragonfly while you’re there).

Vanessa has been staffing the desk at the @perthshireopenstudios showcase today. It’s inspiring to see so many fantastic local artists’ work all in one space! We are delighted to have our woven door Ash storage bench on show this year. If you haven’t been yet, it’s definitely a highlight worth visiting!
