Happy Sunday! This is Elisha Burnam with your September 20th Surf Report.

Today was a special paddle out here in Guiones, as friends and members of our surf community came together to remember Pete Beavis, who recently passed away. We shared the water, the waves, and a beautiful morning in his memory. It was a meaningful day in the lineup, surrounded by friends, family, and the ocean that brings us all together.

Waist to chest high
Tide chart: High tide was at 8:52 AM and low tide will be at 3:32 PM.
Stop by Surfing Nosara’s office and ask for Elisha, or Kenyi, if you would like to book a private photo session or purchase any of our pictures. Enjoy the photos we selected from this morning’s surf session, and check out www.surfingnosara.com for additional pictures and further information about activities and upcoming events here in Playa Guiones.
Don’t forget to share and tag us! Pura Vida

Dear Pete,

I can't believe I'm writing this.

You weren't just an extraordinary photographer and director. You were an extraordinary human being. One of those rare people who made everyone around you feel seen. Every conversation started with a genuine, "How are you?" and you always meant it.

I'll miss our calls and WhatsApp messages. You'd tell me about life in Costa Rica, surfing, the personal projects you were pouring your heart into, and the life you had built with your beautiful family. You had such a zest for life. You were good fun, with an effortless wit and a sense of humour, and I always loved our conversations.

You'd often tell me about the artists you admired, the people who inspired you and whose work you aspired to. I'd always tell you the same thing: "You're just as brilliant." I don't know if you ever truly believed it, but to me, you really were one of the greats.

I feel incredibly lucky that our paths crossed, that we got to create together, laugh together, and that I got to call you a friend.

My heart is with your wife, your three beautiful children, and everyone who loved you.

The photographs I'm sharing are of the people who meant the most to you. Your family was your greatest joy, your greatest adventure, and your greatest inspiration. Some of your most beautiful work came from the love you had for them.

We will continue to share your work and celebrate the incredible artist you were, because your creativity deserves to keep inspiring people for years to come.

You'll be deeply missed and never forgotten.

Rest peacefully, my dear friend.
