What's your favourite Morbid Angel album?

GTA is an absolute death metal masterpiece. The riffs, the atmosphere, the songwriting — Trey, Erik, Steve and Pete are fucking legends.

Paying tribute to one of the greatest bands to ever do it.

DM for guitar lessons.

"I stand before thee, gods of all prestine
Come forth to see, all things to be seen..."

On October 17, 2000, the Sumerian gods of Death Metal, MORBID ANGEL, released their seventh studio album, a monumental and dark work entitled GATEWAYS TO ANNIHILATION.
For this second album with Steven Tucker on bass and vocals, the band ventured into more oppressive and abysmal territory, with slower but much heavier songs, lacking chaotic speed but delivering a dose of high-intensity violence and aggression.
In my opinion, it's one of the best in the band's vast discography.

Morbid angel heretic 2003 cd this is morbid angels last album to feature Pete Sandoval on drums who would leave the band in 2010 after 22 years and Steve Tucker last album with the band until his return on 2017 kingdom disdained this is the most underrated morbid angle album of all time it’s not as bad as illud in 2011 but it’s the weakest from the band at the time I mean from 89-00 was nothing but amazing albums and tracks this album is full of noise tracks and a whole drum solo but who’s complaining about a Pete Sandoval drum solo not me Pete is an amazing drummer and it’s awesome to see his skill shine on his own track songs like enshrined by grace and beneath the hollow are the two songs no one really dislikes but this album has a strange tone but it’s sick treys guitar work is sick this version is a two cd version of the album with hidden tracks and a whole disc of just solos from Trey the main album disc has 6 bonus tracks hidden through out track 43 is my favorite because it’s the beneath the hollow instrumental and was the main reason I wanted this version on streaming services it’s called Terror of mechagodzilla but on here it’s called doom creeper this is a sick album and it’s a cool edition I like bonus music of any bands if there bonus music out there I buy it the song is (morbid angel-enshrined by grace)
