Hello to all my local friends in #delraybeach #bocaraton #boyntonbeach you are all invited to meditate and witness art in motion (nature/sunset/full moonrise/ocean) as we move gracefully through a nurturing asana and meditation practice led by Jesicca Aloha. The first full moon of the year will rise from the east shortly after the sun sets from the west.

I have led hundred of meditations and beach yoga classes over the past 5 years and is my calling to continue to share the gift of healing arts with my community. Join me for the first FULL MOON of the year on Saturday the 7th at 5 pm.

This event is held by donation 🌺

What to bring:

Blanket / yoga mat or beach towel to practice on.

A bottle of water.

A journal and a pen.

Bring something warm to cover up after the suns goes down, it may get a little cooler than usual.

How to Take Care of Ourselves During the Full Wolf Moon

-Meet yourself as you are. Remove any expectation that you should feel cheerful or full of energy, and honor what’s happening for you right now.

-Remove any shame or guilt for wanting or needing more rest or alone time. This is natural and should be encouraged during the darker half of the year.

-Nourish your spirit with meditation, reflection, and whatever practices help you connect with your higher self or whatever your conception of spirituality may be.

-Nourish your body with warm, cooked, feel-good seasonal foods.

-Beware of New Year’s resolutions that involve restricting calories or forcing exercise that does not feel right to you.

-Engage in movement practices that you genuinely enjoy, acknowledging that you will not have as much energy to push toward certain fitness goals now and that you may have an easier time doing that in the spring.

-Spend time outside during daylight hours. Breathe the fresh air. Try to find beauty in the natural world.

-If and when necessary, get support from counselors, healers, or trusted friends. Holding your emotions inside can make you sick; make sure you are sharing them safely.

Tis the season… to be aware of a whole lotta different feelings some of us get through the holidays. So this season if you get the blues, sad or lonely remember you are so loved and you deserve to be happy in your right now. We all do. We can do this together, especially when we feel most down. Let’s support and love each other just a little bit harder.
I love you and hope you know that!
