15 years carried by the ocean, guided by aloha, and strengthened by the people who became part of our ʻohana. 🌊🌺 For 15 years, Kula Nalu has been blessed to share the kai, our culture, knowledge, training, and aloha with incredible people from Hawaiʻi and around the world. We are deeply grateful for every person, family, athlete, student, coach, and friend who has shared this journey with us—and humbled that we are still here, still teaching, still learning, and still doing what we love. ʻAʻohe hana nui ke alu ʻia. No task is too great when we work together. Mahalo nui loa to everyone who has paddled alongside us. 15 years of Kula Nalu. E hoʻomau kākou — let us continue forward together. 🤙🏽

Some people come into your life as friends. Some become mentors. And a very few become family. I don’t really know how to put into words what losing you means to me. Thank you for teaching me so much. For all the wild adventures when nobody else was around. For trusting me enough to help restart the legendary Wave Tools Surf Team and carry on a legacy that meant so much to both of us. Thank you for allowing me to be part of an iconic surf brand and its history. For pushing me to be better at what I do. For believing in me, challenging me, laughing with me, and always being there when I needed you. And thank you for constantly reminding me just how many goonbahs were competing with the sun for the center of the universe in the surf industry. 😂 You always had a way of putting things that nobody else could. We had so many adventures. So many stories. So much laughter. So much prayer time. Somewhere along the way, you stopped being just one of my best friends and mentors. 🙏🏽You became family. I’m going to miss you terribly. But my faith tells me this isn’t goodbye. I know you’re in paradise with Jesus now, probably already checking the lineup, waiting for the rest of us to eventually paddle out. And someday, brother, we will see each other again. Until then, I’ll carry the lessons, the stories, the laughter, and the legacy with me. Love you forever. Rest easy in Aloha my friend. 🤙🏼 WAVE TOOLS FOREVER.
