It's an amazing experience when your friend/ a master bodybuilder calls you and invite on his 80th birthday 🎂

@peterciraulo Your passion for fitness and bodybuilding at this age is really commendable.

Well, I am only half your age But still what connects us the most is our natural bodybuilding passion.

You have inspired generations and still you are doing this job very well.

Several years ago, I embarked on a passion project and created my first video blog. I never really shared this project with many people… Until now.

It started out as a very simple idea. During my daily two-hour commute into NYC, I would scour through magazines and newspapers and find inspiring-uplifting stories, which I still do to this day. I then reached out to these incredible individuals and on weekends many of them allowed me into their world, filming them as they went about their lives. From this footage, I created short/mini documentaries about these inspiring people and captured their proudest moments.

During my journey on this project, I met some amazing folks. They endured challenges, hardships, and failure. But through hard-work and patience, they persevered and became an inspiration to others. Some were featured on ABC News and 60 minutes. Another had her story adapted to a full length documentary that premiered at Tribeca a few years ago.

Why revisit this passion project now? I Just thought it was worth sharing since I feel like we can certainly use a boost of motivation heading into the new year.

Each day this week, I will share one story that I shot and edited. Please be kind as I had no budget and made these videos all in me free time. I shot all with my Canon 7D (my first dslr) and taught myself how to edit by watching @vimeo.

Special thanks to all that allowed me inside their lives to film this series. And special thanks to my wife who has supported me throughout all of my creative endeavors.
Looking ahead to 2022, I look forward to shooting more stories and meeting more inspiring people.

Feel free to view these stories on yourproudestMoment.com If you would like to have on of your proudest moments added to the yourproudestmoment.com web series, please DM me. Thanks for allowing me to share and all the best in 2022.
