Some highlights from our adventures in Boothbay Harbor, Maine last week with the family. Had lots of good food, learned about the islands on both the port and starboard sides of the boat, and took in stunning views the entire week.

Not pictured: whale and puffin watching, but oh my goodness was it incredible.

Untitled, my co-created playwrights lab @allstarsprojectinc supported the development of our 37th play with a reading of @daveanzuelo’s play TIGERS and we have to give love to our actors @pierrlito, @guadalisdc, @jla_irrefutable, Shawn Denegre-Vaught, @mor.glenn and @sean.fletcher.ny, as well as everyone who came out to support Dave’s process. Our community continues to grow and big thanks to @theatrerow for giving us a temporary home!

Holy hot tamales!! My show won FIVE awards at the New York City Fringe closing ceremony!!! 🤯🙏🥹 I am blown away with gratitude and joy. I’m so excited to bring it to L.A. on June 14 (ticket link in bio!), hopefully Denver in July (searching for a theatre), and then Edinburgh in August!! 🙌💃🏻🎉

It is incredible to create something, share it with the world, and find out people actually like it. I am so grateful to everyone who supported me along the way and kept telling me I could do this. Especially Erez, Martha, Joe, Drew, Hadley, Jaque, Elycia, Emily, Debbie, Alexa, Jaccoa, Jimmy, and all the lovely people at Frigid New York and Under St Marks, my director Padraic Lillis, who brought the theatrics to my storytelling (and Gail Thomas for connecting us), Matthew Hallock for his (award-winning!) light design, the insight and feedback of artistic consultants and acting coaches Jenny Bareilles and Peter Collier, my photographer partner co-producer Joshua Wachs (who came to all five shows and helped with so many things), my beautiful son Kaihinjik and their phenomenal voice acting skills, Sara B for finding me a “Big stick” (even if it became my understudy stick, haha), everyone who came to see it, live-streamed it, or wanted to, and every single friend and family member who cheered me on throughout this process. I have learned so much and I can’t wait to continue growing as a performer and writer. ❤️🙏❤️
