We have reached the purple hair portion of quarantine. 💜 This is washout dye, which is why big sis Charley cried with disappointment and informed me that I’m the worst mom ever. And it is also clearly going to stain shirts, furniture, walls…surprise surfaces I haven’t thought of yet. But, it did bring the boys and I a few moments of yay this morning, so #winning.

Because every Mom deserves a trophy! 🏆 Transform a dust-collecting participation “award” into a winning Mother’s Day gift in time for next Sunday, ahem. Just spray pain & fill with flowers. Full how-to in the May issue of @womansdaymag & my Story!

Taco Tuesday 🌮 is basically Christmas🎅🏻 at the Team Murphy compound. We look forward to it ALL week & keep adding to the festivities. (Swipe!) Today we found margarita glasses in the garage, Charley made garland out of taco sticky notes, our chef put a taco patch on his jacket, we whipped up lime non-garitas for the kids... 🔋
🌮
What’s your version of #tacotuesday ?! At @womansdaymag we put out a fun calendar of reasons to celebrate every week. Maybe #nationalchickpeaday will be your jam!

Maybe I should’ve turned off video for the WD Team Zoom meeting?! Is a robe with wet hair in a towel appropriate in the new WFH while home schooling 3 kids reality?! I had a 2-minute window to shower. Hands up if this is harrrrrrd for you too?!

Tune in to @hodaandjenna TOMORROW morning! 📺
Team Murphy is coming in hot with Easter 🐰 ideas direct from our living room. 🔋
Now MORE than ever we NEED to find reasons to celebrate. Research proves that people who practice daily celebratory rituals + gratitude habits are more energized, less anxious & physically and mentally stronger. (Aka Fully Charged!⚡️) Plus, traditions like egg hunts give the kids a sense of normalcy + something to look forward to.
🐣
We’ve got some fun ideas AND my hubs is our camera “crew” so this could get interesting 😝 🔋
