If you were in that room, it left an imprint on your soul forever.

Since @bob__thurman passing, I’ve found myself returning to this moment again and again. Today, I’m sharing it, perhaps for the first time, woven together by @peterruprecht with images from that extraordinary day.

These two friends first met as young men in their early twenties, Bob as the first western ordained monk, studying the Dharma side by side. Over the decades, one became the teacher revered around the world as His Holiness the Dalai Lama. Bob never lost that reverence. Yet to His Holiness, Bob was always something even more precious: his dear friend.

When their eyes met after nine years apart, time stood still. There were smiles, tears, laughter, and the unmistakable joy of two souls who had walked life’s path together for more than half a century.

To orchestrate and share in this reunion remains one of the great joys of my life and many others, and a reminder that the deepest friendships transcend titles, distance, and time.

So much more to share, my friends are so special, truly.

SET ME FREEE🕊️🔥😍✨✨✨✨✨

The day I started to believe in my dreams, my life changed drastically.

The universe sent me to places I had never imagined before.

Every day felt like a new adventure.

I embraced the mystery of not knowing what was going to happen with a sense of curiosity and optimism that I’m grateful for today.

Two years later, I’m living what I once wrote in my journal in the middle of the desert.

And even though I felt alone in those moments, far away from my family, friends, and everything I knew, I was surrounded by people who saw the light in me.

Strangers helped me in ways that only true and unconditional love can.

Today and every day, I’m grateful for all of those who believed in me and helped me get to where I am today.

Thank you ❤️‍🔥🦁

✨ A moment from Spirit Lake at Hulaween, Live Oak, Florida — a truly enchanted gathering of light, sound, and soul. Deep thanks to @jbologino and @ruts_10110 for inviting us into the dream.

I'm so grateful that these goddesses came to explore and bless the moment.

TÄNZER is a luminous plinth of mirrors and perception—a portal where two become one. Step up to it - one on either side, and the boundary of “I” dissolves. What emerges is a shared face, a shared moment… a glimpse into we.

This sober psychedelic invites you to see through the mirror, not just at it. It’s only alive when two people meet inside—when presence meets presence, when reflection becomes connection.

Come experience it for yourself at our permanent home in Morongo Valley, just outside Joshua Tree. The Infinity Boxes are open Wed–Mon, 11–5 at 49700 Twentynine Palms Hwy. For private bookings or group visits, call (760) 835-3802.

In the crimson haze of Myth Opera of Ascending Dreams, a Lucent Dossier siren defies gravity—grace in motion, beauty in flight, while bending over backwards through veils of smoke and shadow. Perhaps that’s the truest metaphor for life itself: surrendering to the pull of impossible heights, where every twist births a new ascension.
