This video is one I usually share every Christmas.

It's my mom seeing, for the very first time, the portrait I drew of her and my late father from their wedding day.

Of all the pieces I've created over the years, this one carries some of the deepest meaning for me and my family.

Today, I'm sharing it for a different reason.

Rather than posting photos from a hospital room, I wanted to share a moment that reflects who she is beyond her current circumstances.

A moment filled with love, memory, gratitude, and the beautiful life she built with my dad. ❤️

If you're reading this, I have a humble request.

Take a moment to slow down.

Place your attention on your heart. ❤️

Think of someone you love. Feel gratitude for them. Then, if you're willing, send that same love, prayer, compassion, and healing intention to my mom. ❤️

I truly believe our hearts are connected in ways we may never fully understand.

When we come together in love, appreciation, and sincere prayer, something powerful happens.

So today, let's focus on love instead of fear.

Let's focus on wholeness instead of illness.

Let's focus on gratitude for all that is, and hope for all that can be.

May my mom be surrounded by peace.

May she be strengthened by love.

May she feel the prayers being lifted on her
behalf.

May healing and grace find their way to her in perfect measure.

Thank you to every friend, family member, fellow artist, and follower who takes a moment to hold her in your heart.
❤️ ❤️ ❤️🙏

A Journey Home is a powerful performance by Khmer Urban Ballet, blending dance, memory, and ritual to trace the journey of a Cambodian-American family navigating separation, loss, and spiritual return. Through a series of seven poetic scenes, the piece honors ancestral wisdom while illuminating the emotional complexity of migration, deportation, and generational healing.
