2026 Rising Tide Meet Recap šŸŒŠāž”ļø

HUGE thank you once again to @kevinpapa and @petespence for inviting me to participate in this meet, truly the best meet I’ve participated in so far. Beyond blessed to continue to do this sport I love.

@joeyflexx7 absolutely did magic during this prep, even tho I kept complaining of not having crazy gym numbers haha. Definitely proof that consistency > numbersšŸ—æ.

Shoutout to @mjgreeno and @mommy_n_ry_lifts for warming me up right and @alex_cano_challenge for handling me and calling absolute BANGERS for numbers, major reason for finally hitting the 1000kilo milestone šŸ¤

382.5kg | 843lbs

Super good squat, unfortunately couldn’t try more because I failed my 2nd attempt which also flew but I have yet to master the art of ✨balance✨. This will be an area of focus in prep for nationals, hopefully we can load up BIG at nationals in 2027šŸ™‚ā€ā†•ļø

235kg | 518lbs

FINALLY hit a bench PR after like 1.5 years?? Definitely feels good! Somehow someway I need to get to it as close to a 600 pound bench as I can, bench is definitely my biggest weakness

382.5kg | 843lbs

Full video, so much emotion in this one.

My favorite lift of the meet, and probably my favorite lift of the year. Being able to close out a meet with such a massive PR on a lift that most super heavy weights have issues with is beyond a blessing and has definitely ignited a fire in me to pull 400+ in the next yearšŸ«ŖšŸ”„

This is my why. Seeing my family, including my nine month old daughter get excited over the side of me lifting something crazy heavy and then celebrating with a little cheer absolutely just melts my heart. unfortunately, Mama and baby weren’t able to travel to this meet for sure be with me in nationals

ā€œIt’s all performativeā€ā€¦Rising Tide, PT I. šŸŒŠāš”ļø

I’ve been competing in powerlifting for a long time, and when I think about the meets I’ve done, I usually separate them into two things: performance and experience.

I’ve had a few days to sit with this one, and I can confidently say this was the best meet experience I’ve ever had.

I wasn’t at my strongest on Sunday, but I had fun. That matters to me. You could feel how much thought and passion went into putting this meet together. From the venue, to the production, live stream, photographers, videographers, staff, and everyone behind the scenes; it genuinely felt like a meet built with the lifters in mind.

I chose to spend my own time and money to be here, and that meant time away from Becca and my daughter. It was also @beccanunns birthday, and a day that carries a lot of memories of Nala for us. So to be able to come to Philly, compete, have this much fun, and experience something this special… I don’t take that lightly. What I’ll remember is how this place felt, the people I shared it with, and getting to look back and see my daughter watching me compete from home.

Rising Tide gave me an experience I’ll never forget.

To everyone who made this happen, thank you.

Another one in the books.
Thank you @kevinpapa and @petespence for trusting our crew to run the platform for one of the biggest meets of the year, it was truly an honor to work with the both of you.

Thank you to all the refs as always and the media crews and all the lifters for trusting us to have their back

But most importantly thank you to everyone in the crew who spotted, and helped set up/breakdown, Delco Spotting Crew isn’t a brand or federation. It’s a group of lifters who mutually love the sport and are willing to be selfless and risk their bodies to make a meet efficient and safe.
