Huge thank you to all our competitors, spectators, coaches, and staff for another incredible in-house competition yesterday. With about 50 competitors and tons of exciting matches, the energy on the mats was off the charts!

What stood out most wasn’t individual performances, but what we showed together. We had multiple people comment on the overall sportsmanship and Jiu-Jitsu technique of the entire group, and that’s something we’re extremely proud of.

We were also honored to donate a portion of the proceeds to Peace Pointe, which fosters shelter dogs and helps them find their forever homes including Coach Chris’ second dog, Peach. Thanks to this community, we raised $1,100 with yesterday’s competition! Please follow @peace.pointe to learn more about their mission.

Looking forward to seeing everyone tomorrow for kids belt & stripe testing week, and for adults we’ll be reviewing techniques from Open Guard & Passing, as well as Back Attacks & Escapes, and Takedowns that we worked on earlier this month.
