May! I went on a trip to Montenegro to raft the Tara River. I met some nice people, ate by the river, drank by (and on) the river, stroked some dogs and had a night out in Dubrovnik on the way home. I enjoyed this a lot.

I WANT TO LOOK STRONG AND LEAN! 💪🏼

That’s what Pete said when he signed up to work with me. He wanted to feel confident and healthy. He wanted his T-shirts to hang well and to lift heavy whilst staying injury free. And as his birthday approached, he wanted to look good and strong!

Work and social events were potential areas where he had previously lost his way, so we overcame those by having more of a plan around what to choose in those situations.

The pandemic had meant Pete had lost some structure to his training, but he regularly managed to get to the gym 3/4 times per week. I gave him a 3 x p/w full body training programme, to ensure he hit all the main muscle groups with enough frequency and then as a bonus we incorporated an arms & shoulders session if he wanted to squeeze in an extra session 🏋🏼‍♂️

We’ve also added Deadlifting back into his most recent programme. A fantastic exercise that leaves you feeling strong and powerful! 💪🏼Previously this had been an exercise Pete might have avoided, but with enough focus on warm up sets, we’re looking forward to the numbers going up in the near future!

Smashed it Pete! Enjoy your holiday! ☀️ 🏝 🍺

After a weekend of Glastonbury reminiscing TBT 1998 when the love affair began. Young dumb and ill prepared for the down pours, we had to purchase a new wardrobe on site. We arrived as boys and left as clowns.
