A couple months back I had the pleasure of attending the launch party for @residentartisthouse. It was inspiring to see this group of great people who are so passionate about guiding the next generation of musicians rise from the ashes of ICON to create something new and unique.
.
I wrote about RAH’s mission to revive true artist development in my latest feature for @musictech_official. Check it out at the link in my bio.
.
The piece also has info about @futureproofmusicschool, another cool program launched by former ICON staff.

Potato Jo Danh Evans. Im so grateful for the sweetest 10 years we shared together and feel so lucky to have found each other in this lifetime. My cuddly, spunky, chatty girl, was by my side during the most formative adult years of my life. She was my soulcat, my protector, and most importantly my daily teacher. Just by watching Potato enter any room, I learned to never shy away from who you are and to be unapologetically yourself. She also showed me the power of unconditional love by loving me during all the different stages of my life and accepting me no matter what. Potato was there for me more than some of the humans in my life and I never felt alone with her by my side.

Oh how I miss your little 11 lbs body guiding me to bed every night and nestling against my body as if you were tucking us both in. I miss you protecting me from the shower demons and standing guard every time I entered the bathroom. I miss our daily conversations and the house really does feel so quiet without your little chitters, melodic meows and your galloping paws zooming between each room. I see you in the clouds and I know it’s you sending me little signs daily, to remind me you’re still watching over me. I’ll never forget you my sweet, snuggly girl and I know you’ll be waiting for me at the rainbow bridge where we’ll meet again someday. Dad, Penny and I miss you so much Po girl. 🌈🐾🪽
