🇫🇷 Rain or shine, Bastille Day 2026 was one for the books! What began with pouring rain turned into a beautiful day of friendly competition, music, and community in the heart of downtown Edmonds.

With 79 competitors and more than 100 players, volunteers, friends, and guests celebrating together, we were reminded that Bastille Day is about more than pétanque—it’s about the French spirit of coming together in liberty, friendship, and celebration. Congratulations to 🏆La for winning the shooting contest, and to our tournament champions: 🥇 Tu, 🥈 Jeff, and 🥉 Lee!

A heartfelt thank you to our dedicated EPC board, volunteers, and everyone who helped set up the courts, tents, snacks, music, signage, scoring, and everything behind the scenes. Your generosity made this day possible.

Here’s to great matches, new friendships, and another unforgettable summer day in Edmonds. Vive la pétanque! 🇫🇷🎉
