The fourth winner of last week's open call theme "Thresholds" is @pethericksusi ! Congratulations and thank you for sending us your work.

Every week, we will announce four winners from our new open call themes, so make sure to send us your work for this week's theme: 'Play' before midnight tonight!

The link is in our bio and applications close every week at 11:59pm on Friday. Submit your work for free for a chance to be featured and to take part in the final, online exhibition! ☀️

About the artist and work:

"I am a photographer enjoying life on the Sussex coast and luckily now have the time to create after a busy career rather than squeezing photography into free time. I love playing with light, shape and form. Experimenting and learning keep me motivated. I enjoy specifically multiple exposures, mostly in camera and love the results – images that often feel more like paintings than photographs There are always project ideas on the go and many inspiring others in photography, film and wider arts to learn from and with.
I have exhibited in Yorkshire. And various locations in London and Sussex.i am proud that my works now hang on walls here and overseas. In addition to this I have created photobooks (hand made and commercially printed) and have worked both as a stills photographer on a film recently and photographed some artists work to help them with publicising their beautiful work.

This multiple exposure image from Rajasthan of a doorway evokes being on the threshold of a different world, something new and unfamiliar, something beautiful yet scary. "

We’re getting ready for another weekend to welcome some new and hopefully returning visitors.
The @patrickedgeley wall pieces have proved very popular but don’t fret – reinforcements have been delivered together with the addition of his ‘Soda Bottles’ we hope these will also prove popular.
There will be some new collage prints on fabric from Stephen Anderson as well as smaller framed pieces.
On Sunday we will have a visit from none other than @darktownresident Jonny Hannah so if you want to have a chat with him about his work or French film then he would love to see you.
Please also visit our website https://www.theprinthouse.net to see the work we have on display.
We look forwarded to welcoming you to Print House over the weekend. #brightonart #printmaking #printers

Phew – what a weekend! We were pleased to welcome so many of you to Print House over the weekend and thank you for visiting us.
We had a wide range of visitors, bright outfits in the sun on Saturday, eye catching jackets and visits from some of our younger print fans on Sunday. As always, our Open House evening was a great success, thanks to James @northgardenbrewery for providing such wonderful beer – this probably also explains why we didn’t have any photos from the event!
The ever popular Print House badges were in evidence, we hope to have tee-shirts soon.
We will be adding and rearranging work this week so look out for posts and we look forward to welcoming new and returning visitors next weekend.
Finally a big Thank You to all of our printers for showing such great work and helping out over the weekend – we couldn’t have done it without you!
