How do you REUSE everyday?

✅ Donate to charity
✅ Shop secondhand
✅ Use reusables (ditched disposables!)
✅ Fix things instead of replacing
✅ Share stuff with friends & family
✅ Get creative - upcycle, refurbish, repurpose
✅ What have we missed?! 🤔

It’s National Reuse Day 💃🕺🪩🎉(woo hoo!) our annual celebration of the simple yet powerful act of ‘Reuse’ - in all its forms.

This year, Reuse Day will focus on encouraging people to choose to REUSE EVERYDAY. It’s easy and convenient and there are soooo many ways to do so.

⬇️ Let us know in the comments your favourite way to #REUSE and tag your favourite charity, organisation, shop, project, campaign, product, community group, influencer, business, person or platform that helps you do that.🙌

✳️ We want to celebrate and share all the amazing ways we all make REUSE part of our everyday ✳️ and encourage others to do it too. So get sharing!

There are so many easy ways for all of us to reuse household and business items and pass things on when we no longer need them.

Whether you opt to re-home items of furniture; take clothes you no longer wear to a charity shop, repair something instead of replacing it or simply remember to take your reusable bags with you when you shop - it’s all reuse and it’s all good!

National Reuse Day is celebrated each year on the third Friday in October.

A closer look at one of Shepherd’s Bush Green’s much-loved local spaces.

Upcycled furniture. Community support.
New skills. Great coffee.

Petit Miracles is the kind of place that makes W12 feel like home.

Pop in, browse, have a coffee at Miracle Brews, and see it for yourself.

Some places do more than serve a neighbourhood.
They help shape it.

For our first Community Spotlight, we visited Petit Miracles in Shepherd’s Bush Green, a much-loved local space giving discarded furniture a second life through upcycling.

But the real story is the people.

For over 17 years, their team has supported adults to build skills, confidence and new opportunities, while creating something genuinely useful and beautiful for the community.

And now, with Miracle Brews open inside, there’s even more reason to pop in, have a coffee and see it for yourself.

A local gem, doing good things quietly and consistently. This is W12.
