{ Petrol Head - Tome 1 : Bienvenue à la course du futur}

Accendete i motori: sta arrivando Petrol Head!
A luglio in libreria e fumetteria e in anteprima a @comiconitalia Bergamo.

When it was time to move from New York to LA I had to leave a lot of things behind including my beloved comic book collection that I had been growing for about 10 years. Im glad to be starting from this new point with this 🔥🔥🔥 comic book @petrolheadcomic by far one of my favorite reads in a longtime.

📖May & June Book Wrap-Up📖

I was delayed in creating posts for my May and June #BookWrapUp. Luckily, the amazing people at @the_storygraph have introduced a new feature! As they do with a user's yearly wrap-up, they have now created an option to generate a graphic for the month, now with the ratings you give! The #StoryGraph just keeps getting better and better. You are missing out if you haven't signed up with the Story Graph!

Now with my reading, I managed to pick up book intake in June compared to May. I think being on holiday on a tropical island helped a little bit. 🤭

After seeing the new art work posted by @petrolheadcomic (and buying it right away) I decided it’s time for a reread of the first 5 issues of this

Petrol Head series is my favourite new comic from the last year. Definitely recommended to anyone who is looking for a new fun read

Just had to get these @petrolheadcomic inspired hand dye yarns from @antidote_yarns_and_designs they are just gorgeous! 🌈 🥰 I have never made anything with 4ply before so any suggestions on what I could turn these into would be very welcome. At the moment I’m thinking socks as I’ve always wanted to try that but feel like it might be a waste of those beautiful colours. 🤔
Probably should make @pyeparr something given it’s his colouring that has inspired them.

Anyway, enormous thanks to @claireclutterbug for doing an special batch just for me 😘

A COLOSSAL thank you to the team behind @petrolheadcomic for sending me this copy of PETROL HEAD vol.1 from @imagecomics!
(It’s actually FIVE issues, by the way) / “In a climate crisis-ravaged future metropolis, an old, grumpy, obsolete, smoke-belching, cigar-chomping, HOTROD-RACING ROBOT is one 12-year-old girl’s only hope. Together, can they outrace the chasing Robo-Cops with an invention that might just save humanity?”
