Happy Saturday y’all! I had the honor of being asked to create this work as a tribute to their friend's dog who had passed away. I was super nervous creating this. I mean, neon zombie monster art doesn't necessarily scream heart warming pet portrait. But, hey, I always want to be pushed creatively as an artist. It was really amazing to be able to make this piece to honor the passing of a pet.

In August, PAW Team served 1,183 unique families through our Pet Food & Supply Bank, including Buddy the chihuahua and his person pictured here. ❤️

Through our clinic, our team provided direct veterinary services to 275 individual pets, ranging from wellness, spay/neuter, urgent needs and chronic conditions, and even end-of-life care. Countless more families came to our door each day with questions regarding their beloved pet’s health.

Thank you to our incredible volunteers and supporters for making it all possible!

And THANK YOU to @petsonbroadway for an amazing donation of dog food from a recent drive with partners at @nulopetfood ! Summertime is always tough for donations, but this helped us stock our shelves and feed the community another day.

It’s National Dog Day! 🐕😊

Well-behaved dogs are always welcome here, and we make sure the good boys and girls get rewarded with treats we pick up from local spots @saltyspetsupply and @petsonbroadway.

We’re also the official laundry sponsor for @secondhandpetsupply - Drop donated pet supplies into our collection boxes at both locations. Then we wash everything with a sustainable, pet-friendly clean before it hits their shelves.

Enjoy this highlight tape of SOME of the pups that have come into Spin over the years.

Thanks to our custies who bring their pups to Spin! It’s always a team highlight to see and meet your pups at the mat!

Share yours by tagging #pupsofspinstagram 🐾

Look at all of these amazing prizes for the Find Waldo Local Wrap-Up Party!

There are so many cool things! And this doesn’t even include the entire cart full of books and book related goodies (posters, stickers, buttons, bookmarks, etc.) that A Children’s Place is donating!

Everyone is welcome to come down for the party this afternoon at 4pm. We’ll have cake and activities, and we will be drawing names for all of these great prizes. Even if you didn’t finish your stamp card, we will make sure that you still go home with something (we just draw names of people who got at least 20 stamps first).

And please make sure you thank and support all of these great Portland small businesses year round.
