As we always say, event hosting is never a one-size-fits-all approach. We recently had a very beautiful yet uncommon reception where it was challenging to come up with fun activities. However, with experience, good human relations skills, and a bit of spontaneity, I managed to create some memorable moments from this unique event. In the midst of it all, Ink Way is quite the romantic at heart 😂..

One of them clearly will not be getting a tattoo. Who is that?

It was an honor to co-host the wedding reception of West Africa's most renowned tattoo artist. What began as a simple client seeking Google’s recommendation for a tattoo artist turned into a beautiful love story. We celebrated at #yula2026, famously called the Ink Wedding, and it’s clear why the world gave the ceremony its nickname. What a day!!
