My top 5 tracks from 63OG’s "63PROBLÈMES(=63SOLUTIONS)"

63OG didn’t drop one but two mixtapes within 12 hours. We were only expecting 63PROBLEMES, but 12 hours later we got a nice surprise : every problem has its solution with 63SOLUTIONS, a second tape that completes the first one.

So we end up with 34 tracks, which is quite long, with some forgettable and sometimes repetitive moments, but it allows 63OG to showcase almost his entire musical range, blending afro sounds, trap, plugg, and ambient/cloud vibes (which is actually the side that I like the most). It’s a great gift for all his fans, who will definitely find something they like.

This sound diversity is especially there on the first part, while the second tape is almost entirely trap-focused. Still, he experiments with his voice on it, revealing a new side of 63OG.

Another major highlight of this double mixtape is the hosting by PlentyGlitz, who narrates the project and adds a real boost of energy in a perfect way.

As for the collaborations, I don’t find all of them relevant, especially HLD and OBOY, which didn’t connect with me at all, but what I do really love is 63OG’s ongoing international push, with appearances from Fazo, Pz’, Southsidesilhouette, Didi B, Mizi, and even Italian artist Rondodasosa.

These choices further establish him as one of the faces of the French scene on an international level, and despite its flaws, this double mixtape confirms the full extent of 63OG’s artistic range.
