The past four years as a Clear Falls Knight have been an incredible journey filled with memorable experiences and personal growth. Being part of the cross country team has been especially rewarding, as it has taught me the value of perseverance, teamwork, and dedication. As the season comes to an end, I am especially grateful for my amazing teammates who have become my second family. Every practice, every race, and every moment of every struggle and triumph was made better because we faced them together. It’s been an honor to represent Clear Falls, and I’m grateful for every moment spent pushing my limits and achieving new milestones.

Not every race/event at Junior Olympics results in a medal but many “can” result in personal records. I can’t tell you how proud I am of these athletes. Look at the joy in the face of Bella after a grueling 2000m race where she dropped 10 seconds. Three were first year Cyclones runners and the other ran an entire season all the way through for the first time. Keep an eye on them!

Why is Peyton smiling while running? LOL!

Peyton Collier getting ready for the steeplechase! Hurdling is looking good!

So ummm, how is it possible for Emmie to MISS the steeple and go right in the water. I actually think she should just hurdle the water jump…she kinda did! Emiliana Madar, Isabella Williams, and Peyton Collier advance to Junior Olympics in the 2000m steeplechase!

The transformation is unbelievable. Now it’s easy…so Peyton can concentrate on just running instead of thinking about the steeples. Bravo!

Track is about numbers and Peyton knew hers. Ran a perfect race…600 in 1:48, just like in practice. What was even as impressive…last 300 in 53 and last 200 in 38. That means you are in shape! New PR of 2:26…we ain’t finished.

When you see…you will know! Look at the finish in the 800m by Peyton (The diesel) Collier! A PR of 2:26. The last 2 weeks have been impressive in practice and it showed today. If she is close…watch out!

I could not resist…the 3 stages of hurdling/steeplechase as a new event. 1. Bella…concentration (tongue comes out like Michael Jordan). 2. Emmie…determination and resolve (jaw is tightened). 3. Peyton…elation and relief…she made it! (A smile is forming).
