This year let say has been a never ending roller coaster.

There were a lot of ups and downs with school, friendships, and family. I lost both my grandma and my grandpa this year, and as time keeps moving forward without them here, every day still feels a little new. I miss them more than I can put into words. I know they’re in heaven, fully healed, probably talking Jesus’ ear off, making jokes, and watching over us 🤍

But even in the middle of the hard, there was still a lot of good.

This year brought friendships I didn’t know I was missing, moments of happiness when I needed them most, and moments that made everything feel worth it. I found my wedding dress (AHHH!), pushed through nursing school on the toughest days, and now I’m only 6 months away from becoming a nurse, something I know my grandparents would be so proud of.

This year taught me that even after loss, even through the darkest toughest times, God still opens doors and keeps giving you things to look forward to. I’m walking into next year with a full heart, big dreams, and so much excitement for what’s ahead 🤍
