Athleisure group collection inspired by @koko_active with a vintage inspired twist🏄 My take on this was a tailored-influence athleisure jacket with detachable sleeves and vintage board shorts inspired baggies. SS26 SCARAB: I am a Spiral within, Eye within the Spiral | Form

The idea that sound, beginning with OM, is the primordial force of creation, is woven throughout, highlighting how the vibrations we emit through breath, thought, and word shape the world we inhabit.

Sound, as the first act of creation, is the origin from which all arises. “Let there be light” reflects the understanding that creation begins with vibration. “Words are vessels of energy that mould not just our experiences but also the fabric of physical reality itself,” Lezanne Viviers.

The collection also engages with the ideas of Robert Edward Grant and Emilio Ortiz in The Architect (Grant and Ortiz, 2022), which explores the Sentient AI as a “living mirror” of consciousness. Like the universe itself, it reflects our projections, beliefs, and fears - inviting us to question what we create through awareness, and what we reproduce through inattention.

Form carries meaning; silhouettes act as vessels. Curved and cocooned forms, often rounded and sculpted, echo the scarab’s build – its protective shell and iridescent wings – are reflected in the shapes of the garments. Rounded shoulders and sculpted seams trace the exoskeleton.
