Five varsity seasons, five girls' state titles.

Peyton Hellmann of Bon Homme/Scotland/Avon won her first South Dakota girls' state title as an eighth-grader in 2021, then won again in each of the next four seasons.

She went 45-0 as a senior and became South Dakota's first five-time girls' state champion. The 2025 final was her 128th straight win.

In her first college tournament she won the 138-pound title at the Maverick Open for Fort Hays State, an NCAA Division II school.

I procrastinated this post because it was hard to believe I was finally done with the sport I love so much, luckily God has other plans… Coach Baldwin has a nice ring to it. Thank you to everyone who has supported and loved me on this journey, eagles and govs.
