What a bittersweet week it’s been… my last FFA banquet, turning 18, celebrating with everyone at my grad party, elementary school breakfast,and being recognized at the McKinney Independent School District awards. So thankful for every memory, friendship, and moment that got me here. T-minus 4 days until graduation

Two weekends ago at Fort Worth marked the final show of my FFA showing career, and I still don’t quite have the words for it. Cash made the sale and placed 3rd in his class out of more than 68 steers, which makes it even harder to believe this chapter has come to an end. Showing steers has been such a huge part of my life, and closing this door is bittersweet. I am incredibly grateful for the friendships I’ve made along the way, because they are truly irreplaceable. The lessons this journey has taught me, about hard work, patience, responsibility, and resilience, have shaped me into who I am today and will stay with me forever. I will miss the late barn nights, early mornings, and traveling all over Texas with people who became family. While I’m sad to see this chapter close, I’m also excited to see what’s next. To my ag teachers, thank you for always pushing me to be better and never letting me settle. To my family, thank you for always showing up, supporting me, and believing in me every step of the way. To my friends, thank you for always being ringside, cheering me on, and making the long days worth it. The memories I’ve made through FFA and showing will last a lifetime, and I will forever be grateful for every moment of it.
