Thank you Clbc for the last 4 summers. You’ve given me a love for God and a group of amazing people I can call my best friends.

To my best friends who mean so much to me-
@nora.zaret You have been there for me since day 1. You have such a love for the Lord and you inspire me greatly. Without you I’m not sure where I’d be in my walk with Christ so I’m forever thankful.

@weasel.goose and @kyleigh.kline8 you two have been some of the most fun cabin mates I could have come across. Our tubing days have always been my favorite and I’m so so proud of both of you.

@ruby.bowers_ and @arianna12110 although I only got to be in a cabin with you this one year you’ve become my little sisters. Your faith is something so incredible and I truly see Jesus shining through both of you. Continue to shine each and every day and know I’ll always be here for you.

@peyton_hockersmith if you would have asked me how I thought about you at first I would have said you are the sassiest man I ever met. Now you’ve changed my mindset completely. You are a loving person with such a love for God and it shows.

@dawson_dargenio you brought all the laughs the last three years and pushed me to be a better more outgoing person. With everything you have gone through whether you talked about it or not you have shown and taught me how to continue to show everyone love. “Rowboat” somehow stuck and I wouldn’t change it for anything.

@bowers7834 over the past three years you have became a brother to me that I’ve never had. Thank you for keeping all the sticks from hitting me in the head in the woods during kgb and always cracking jokes to make me laugh. You are able to carry a conversation with anyone and I will forever love that about you. It’s so easy to see that you truly love God and I pray you continue to show that.

Thank you CLBBC for being my friends when I felt so alone, scared, and empty. You taught me there was good in the world when I only knew dark. No matter the distance you will all hold a place in my heart forever.

I mean it when I say that Speech and Debate was the best choice I ever mede in high school. The people I’ve met, the things I’ve learned, and the skills I’ve acquired are beyond anything you can find anywhere else in public high school. Although my career did not always go as planned, debate was something I could always look forward to, and I’m proud to say I was a a part of it.
Thank you to everyone who got me to Student of the Year finalist, national recognition in the activity I love means everything to me. I’m looking forward to seeing what the future looks like for this activity.

from being the first Jefferson Public Forum Debate team to win an invitational, to being the first debate State Champions for Jefferson, and to placing the highest in Jefferson’s history at nationals in debate, it’s safe to say that we have done some pretty incredible things together. to have a debate partner like @kellerwagemann is more than just a blessing. because despite the snoring and constant talking, he’s one of the greatest people i’ve ever met. i will always be grateful for the friendship that our partnership has given me, and it’s one that i will never forget and will always keep. thank you keller for all those fun times on debate trips, but i especially thank you for all of the times outside of speech and debate where you’ve helped me become a better person overall. i couldn’t imagine this community without you, and it’ll be hard to do so next year, but speech and debate for me will always include keller wagemann, because that’s just who you are.

you may not be my debate partner anymore, but you’re my brother for life. go do big things 👀
