Blessing. That’s the one word that describe’s what these past two years have been. Yes I have learned how to make a blood smear and identify white bloods cells, I have learned that horses have an incredibly large cecum and cows have a multi-lobulated kidney. I can now place an endotracheal tube and keep a patient alive under anesthesia and I can scrub into and assist in surgeries. Above all that though I have grown my faith in immeasurable ways. I have seen how God has used my testimony to impact the lives of others, I have welcomed dear friends as they became my brothers and sisters in Christ. I have made friends that love outwardly and unconditionally but will call me out on my crap when I need it. I got engaged to my best friend and have grown in communicating, loving like a servant and being more selfless. So yes it has been a blessing and I am so thankful for where God placed me not just so I could earn the degree I always dreamed of but also so I could grow in ways I never imagined. Thank you Lord for what you do and who you are and thank you to the teachers, friends, family and classmates that made this about so much more than a degree!!🤍🤍
