It’s #newmembermonday! Today we’re hearing from the amazing @peytontappp 💐

“Coming to Syracuse as a spring sophomore transfer, I was absolutely terrified about finding my people when it felt like everyone already had their set groups. I decided to rush very last minute with no idea what to expect. As cliché as it sounds, the moment I walked into GPhi I knew I had found my home away from home. Every girl I talked to during rush was so authentically themselves and genuinely loved every girl in this house. Being welcomed so quickly with open arms completely changed my transfer experience from something scary into one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. I instantly found a group of girls I can go to for anything and who made me feel like I truly belong. To everyone in MC26, thank you for being the most supportive, uplifting girls I could ever imagine.

I couldn’t talk about GPhi without talking about my big, Jade. Growing up without sisters, I never fully understood what sisterhood meant until I met you. From the moment we met, it felt like I had known you forever. You are someone I look up to so much, and you’ve given me the kind of sisterhood I had always hoped for. To the rest of my fam, Sophia, Sofia, and Grace, thank you for being the sisters I never had. I’m so proud to call you all fam!!!🌟💓🕺

I have so much love for everyone in Gamma Phi, thank you for being my best friends😆❣️💌🤸‍♀️🌙🥳”
