Augusta, Georgia... the 706 is officially on the clock! 🚨🦅
We are taking the national housing project archive straight to the Garden City, breaking down the true street history of the blocks that built Augusta. We are sliding through Allen Homes, Cherry Tree Crossing, Olmsted, MM Scott, Oak Pointe, and Dogwood Terrace.
On my soul, the culture out here hits different and runs way deeper than what outsiders know. We are looking at Olmsted Homes—the absolute blueprint as the first public housing project built in the entire state of Georgia—and the legendary community bonds inside Allen Homes. We’re paying major respect to the families who held down Cherry Tree Crossing (the original Sunset Homes), the deep-seated roots inside MM Scott, the history of Oak Pointe out East, and the generations that came up through Dogwood Terrace.
Mainstream media completely looks past the grit, the love, and the real hustle that came out of these brick complexes. No cap, Augusta holds down the entire CSRA’s legacy.
