Wie bleibt man eine Ikone? Indem man das Feuer weitergibt. ✨

150 Jahre Hotel Sacher Wien und eine Geschichte, die Alexandra Winkler und Georg Gürtler mit ihrer ganz eigenen Handschrift weiterschreiben.

Wir sprechen über den Mythos der Original Sacher Torte, den Mut zur Veränderung und darüber, was einen Abend in der Roten Bar unvergesslich macht.

Zwischen Lobmeyr Lustern und Sacher Rot sind es vor allem die Menschen, die diesem Haus seine besondere Atmosphäre geben. Und manchmal beginnt ein schönes Gespräch mit einem guten Glas Wein. 🍷

Dass hier auch unsere Salomon Undhof & -Estate Weine eingeschenkt werden, macht mich stolz. Zwei Familienunternehmen, die viel verbindet: Geschichte, Herzblut und die Freude daran, Menschen besondere Genussmomente zu schenken.

Happy birthday, girl. 🤍

I will never get tired of telling you how incredibly proud I am of you. Proud of the woman you’ve become. Proud of the person you are, and even more proud of the little girl you once were.

Only you know what you’ve been through. The tears nobody saw. The battles nobody knew about. The nights you had to be strong when all you really wanted was for someone to tell you that everything would be okay.

Only you know how many times life broke your heart, and how many times you quietly put yourself back together.

And look at you now.

You’re still here. Still smiling. Still dreaming. Still believing in love, in kindness, and in all the beautiful things life has to offer.

And that, my girl, is something I will always admire about you.

Thank you for never giving up on yourself. For finding the courage to begin again, even when you were afraid. For choosing to keep your heart soft in a world that sometimes gave you every reason not to.

I wish I could go back and hug the little girl you once were. Hold her close and whisper that one day, she will understand why she had to be so strong. That she will become a woman she can be proud of.

And most importantly, I would tell her that she deserves all the love and happiness she has always dreamed of.

Today, I wish you just one thing - to be truly, deeply happy.

Not someday. Not when everything finally falls into place. But now. In this life, in this moment, exactly as you are.

I hope you never stop dreaming, never stop believing in magic, and never forget how much love you have inside you.

And if I could promise you one thing, little Anna, it would be this:

I will never give up on you. I will always choose you. And I will spend the rest of my life making sure that little girl inside me knows just how loved she is.

I am endlessly proud of you, little Anna.

Das älteste Hotel Wiens. 425 Jahre Geschichte. Und die Zukunft? ✨

Im Hotel Stefanie, dem ältesten Hotel Wiens, habe ich Alexander Schick getroffen. Für ihn war die Hotellerie schon als Kind ein Teil seines Lebens. Ein Hotel, sagt er, sei wie eine kleine Stadt – voller Menschen, Möglichkeiten und unterschiedlichster Aufgaben.

Heute verbindet er im Hotel Stefanie Wiener Tradition mit zeitgemäßem Komfort. Denn auch ein Haus mit über vier Jahrhunderten Geschichte muss sich immer wieder neu erfinden.

Besonders berührt hat mich seine Antwort auf die Frage, was er der nächsten Generation mitgeben möchte:

Die Freiheit, ihren eigenen Weg zu gehen. Und natürlich die Hoffnung, dass die Familiengeschichte vielleicht eines Tages in sechster Generation weitergeschrieben wird.

Ein Gedanke, den ich als Familienunternehmerin sehr gut nachvollziehen kann.

Being a woman. Being a doctor. Being constantly seen, evaluated, expected to know, to lead, to be enough.

It took me years to truly feel comfortable in my own skin and even now, there are days when the doubt whispers that I’m not enough.

But confidence was never about becoming fearless.
It was about learning not to let fear define me.

I’ve learned that I don’t have to be perfect to be powerful.
I don’t have to prove my worth.
And I don’t have to become someone else to deserve the space I’ve earned.

Maybe self-confidence is simply this:
knowing who you are — even on the days you’re still becoming her.
