Bringing Savvy Munk to this community means the world to us! It’s so fun to see everyone dial in their style for the run, enjoying our clothes.

This was our busiest and best PhanArt to date. So grateful for the support of this community 🫶

“When the going gets weird, the weird turn pro.”

@phish playing in Atlantic City, NJ and it seems natural that Raoul Duke should make an appearance. Dishing out prescription poems on his typewriter at @phanart inside the Tropicana. Making sure the scene has a fast-paced click and clatter vehicle in poetry to process the Fear and Loathing outside the music’s healing charm. A wave of hope. Doc Gonzo leaning in with a voice of reason, despite a crazy world that turns and turns with madness.

Truly grateful to Leo and Tim for the invitation to pop-up and perform personalized poems for phans. I enjoyed the chance to emulate the dissidence of a favorite countercultural icon.

Before the last few years I must admit I had not fully grasped the essence behind this quote by Hunter S. Thompson. Written in a different time that this current political circus now makes look like a walk in the park. With our own east coast Las Vegas as a backdrop, where the American Dream and its carnage is on full display, I found words for the joy that overcomes the pain.

One can only imagine what Thompson himself would have to say about these cartoonish times we’re living through. Without writers like him, it would seem it’s us who are challenged to stand up. Wave our freak flags a little higher. Paint this world in tie dye. Turn up the volume of the heart.

Grateful for every which way this spirit family dances.
Buy the ticket, take the ride! Fight the good fight!
See you for another spin tonight!

NJ transit runs a local train philly to AC - every couple of hours or so. Not everyone knows about it but it’s a great way to get down to AC. My uber driver was the man, knew I was late and made sure to drop me off on the correct side as quickly as possible. Bought the ticket on my phone / no kiosk needed. Easy like Sunday mornin. Took me a long time to get back on the train. Make sure to support the local middle aged parents and struggling art students and self taught homies and 🥪 and @good_baklava slangers on lot as well as @phanart this Saturday at noon at Tropicana AC. @moonlightreflections hopefully out juggling as well.
