POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

We met once, 20 years ago in Germany and just reconnected at Felabration 2026!

Back in 2006, the Lagos Story Plenty tour brought a group of us to perform across five German cities: myself, @realafricanchina @eedrislakreem @adebantu @modenine_polimaf and Rule Clean. The tour was put together by Jay Routledge of Outhere Records, taking us through Munich, Hamburg, Berlin, Leipzig, and Cologne.

While in Cologne, I was interviewed by two journalists from an online music magazine called Ntama. One of them was a young lady named Nadine Siegert.

Fast forward two decades: as I stepped off stage after my performance at Felabration 2026, a woman walked up to me backstage, introduced herself, and brought up that 2006 tour. My mind was completely blown when she pulled out the photo we took together during that interview in Cologne!

Wow... 20 years later. It instantly took me down memory lane. How time flies! Moments like this serve as a powerful reminder to thank God for life every single day.

It was wonderful seeing you again, Nadine. Let’s definitely catch up over drinks soon!
