Currin-Kidd Wedding

Congratulations to the legendary couple, it was a beautiful weekend. (Long caption ahead, many pardons)

So happy for these two, they are amusingly different and yet fit together so well, it’s pretty inspiring to witness. I may or may not have shed two microliters of tears on this day. I’ve known James since 2010 and had a blast being his roommate for a long time in Wilmington. Even in hard times he is relentlessly optimistic, that positivity is contagious from him. I remember during emotional ruts, us having long talks about life and being successful, how life is like a game and it kind of all works out so long as you keep trying. Being there on his big day… it was one of those great party-time weekends that will stick in your mind and makes life so worthwhile to look back on.

One quick story: in December 2020 I met up with James and Mary Francis for dinner, I told them I was pretty depressed and stuck in an unhappy job and situation, they convinced me to take an insane leap of quitting and moving back in with my parents without any real plan. They just made this really hard life decision sound so simple and nonchalant. I took their advice and it freed me up to amazing opportunities that 3 years down the line made my incredible life possible. I wish I could have recorded that conversation somehow, I’d probably listen to it over and over. I credit them two with playing an instrumental role in how the course of my life is unfolding.

Grateful to know you guys! Honored to be there on this day and seeing all the bros again. Being an ATO is one of the best things to ever happen to me!

I hope this wasn’t too deep and heavy or anything, just felt like I should share. Ok bye for now.

Today was incredibly bittersweet as it was my final day with the Carolina Panthers. My time working in sports has been filled with some unbelievable experiences, and I have formed some of my very best friendships along the way. I am truly able to say that I have had the privilege to live out my dream, and as a result, my heart is filled with gratitude and contentment.

Here are a few photos of some of my favorite memories from over the years.

With that being said, I have been blessed with an exciting opportunity to work for SADA where I will be in a sales role to transform businesses with Google Cloud technology.

My time with the Panthers will always be special to me, but I’m ecstatic for the chance to dive into a new chapter of life.

Charlotte friends, fear not, my roots will continue to grow deeper into a city that I have learned to call home as I’ll be working remote to focus on the growing tech market in the Carolinas.

From cats to cloud, ready or not, here we come.
