en: Based on the story you can read in our highlights: The film #LesÚltimesMitges first shows a group of sharecroppers harvesting olives, while at the same time focusing on the moment when the group of sharecroppers at the heart of the story, already dressed and ready to storm the ball, proudly and fearlessly make their way through the olive fields of Fontanars dels Alforins, where they have worked for so long. Here, they encounter the sharecroppers seen at the beginning of the film, who are surprised, moved, and grateful for their decision and courage to attend the landlords’ ball without an invitation, a gesture that will forever change their social standing. val: Partint de la historia que es pot llegir en les nostres destacades: El film de #LesÚltimesMitges mostra, en primer lloc, un grup de mitgers recol·lectant olives, i al mateix temps, s’ubica en el moment en què el grup de mitgers protagonista de la història, ja vestits i preparats per a irrompre en el ball, avança amb orgull i sense por entre els camps d’oliveres de Fontanars dels Alforins que tant de temps han treballat. en: Based on the story you can read in our highlights, we present the third look of #LesÚltimesMitges: Carmen wears a strapless dress with drapes and puffed details in silk dupion, held by an inner corset, evoking the trunk of a monumental olive tree. The skirt is made up of two layered double-circle flounces resting on an inverted esparto “basket”, reinterpreted as a crinoline: the lower flounce, in silk dupion, alludes to the skirts worn by the sharecroppers; and the upper one, in rustic silk organza, recalls the aprons they used. The shades and textures evoke the earth, the olives before ripening, and olive oil. Carmen’s design is embroidered with the same intention as look 2. The esparto crinoline band and the hat refer to the baskets used by the sharecroppers to gather olives, handcrafted by @mansanet_espart together with his advanced students. ————————————————————————————— val: Partint de la història que es pot llegir en les nostres destacades, presentem el tercer look de #LesÚltimesMitges: Carmen llueix un vestit amb escot paraula d’honor, amb drapejats i abullonats en dupión de seda subjectats a un corset interior, que evoquen el tronc d’una olivera monumental. La falda es compon de dos volants de doble capa que descansen sobre un “cabàs”d’espart invertit reinterpretat com a crinolina: el volant inferior, en dupión de seda, al·ludeix a les faldes llargues que vestien els mitgers; i el superior, en organça rústica de seda, s’inspira en els davantals que utilitzaven. Les tonalitats i textures remeten a la terra, a les olives abans de madurar i a l’oli d’oliva. El look 3 està brodat amb la mateixa finalitat que el look 2. La banda de la crinolina d’espart i el barret fan al·lusió als cabassos amb què els mitgers recollien les olives, elaborats artesanalment per @mansanet_espart amb els seus alumnes avantatjats. en: Based on the story you can read in our highlights, we present the second look of #LesÚltimesMitges: Marina wears a strapless dress with a draped bodice in greyish green silk shantung, inspired by the movement of the cloths used to harvest olives. The drapes are held over an inner corset, and the puffed hips evoke the crown of the olive tree over a floor-length double mikado tube skirt, like those worn by the sharecroppers, representing a young trunk. It’s wrapped in a dark green cupro gathered overskirt, like the smooth cloths laid around the tree before harvesting. The shades recall the olive leaves and the fruit before ripening. The bodice, hand-embroidered with crystals and beaded fringes, evokes the scattered olives on the cloths. The esparto hat design refers to the baskets used by the sharecroppers to collect olives and was handcrafted by @mansanet_espart with his advanced students. ————————————————————————————— val: Partint de la història que es pot llegir en les nostres destacades, presentem el segon look de #LesÚltimesMitges: Marina llueix un vestit paraula d’honor amb cos drapejat en shantung de seda verd grisenc, inspirat en el moviment dels llençols utilitzats per a collir olives. Els drapejats se subjecten sobre un corset interior i els abullonats del maluc evoquen la copa de l’olivera sobre una falda de tub en mikado doble, llarga fins als peus com les que utilitzaven els mitgers, que representa un tronc jove. La cobreix una sobrefalda frunzida en cupro verd fosc, com els llençols llisos que envolten l’arbre abans de la collita. Les tonalitats recorden a les fulles de l’olivera i les olives abans de madurar. El cos, brodat a mà amb cristalls i serrells (flecos) de pedreria, al·ludeix a les olives escampades sobre els llençols. El disseny del barret d’espart s’inspira en el cabàs amb què els mitgers recollien les olives i ha estat realitzat artesanalment per @mansanet_espart amb els seus alumnes avantatjats.
