My new song “breadcrumbs” just dropped on all streaming platforms!! I wrote this one on a sassy afternoon in December of last year with my talented friend @aronrosing_ as I went into the studio in a fed up mood with a whole lot I wanted to get off my chest that day… When you really like someone you don’t just want a little bit… you want A LOT.😏 This song is about putting my foot down hard and declaring what I will and will not accept in a relationship. It was empowering & fun to write and I hope you feel that as it’s now officially yours!

“My Way Home” is officially out on all streaming platforms! I truly think this might be the best song I’ve made to date. And the keytar solo is a lot of fun. It’s a tribute to my late cat Carly, who passed away last year. I was also inspired by the Avatar: The Last Airbender episode “Appa’s Lost Days”. The lore goes even deeper than that though. Last year, I was asked to write a song for @singmeastoryofficial. They pair up songwriters with children in need, and the children make up a prompt, which the songwriters write a song about. I picked a girl named Connie and her topic was “The Lost Cat”. “My Way Home” was the song that came out of that. The song ended up being so good that I just had to make a fully produced version of it. Although I wrote and produced this song, I want to turn everyone’s attention to the people who contributed: @ianobrien.00 (co-write, guitars), @sagesaintjohn (co-write, backing vocals), @phasemixes (mix), @tessgreenham (master), and @ibelcampbell (art). Happy listening!

Surprise!! 🤍 My brand new song, “competition,” just dropped on all streaming platforms. I wrote this song during a season when I was struggling with the feeling of not being chosen. It became my reminder that I get to choose myself first. It’s about treating myself with the highest level of care, loving myself well, putting myself first, and giving myself good things simply because I’m worthy of them - not because I earned someone else’s approval. It’s a decision that I refuse to chase love, because love is already mine and abundantly flowing through me. I wrote this song with @nellmaudemaynard and @joshsahunta, and it was such a special & sweet day. We cried, laughed, danced, screamed a little and had so much fun bringing this song to life together. 💜 I used to treat dating like an audition, and I thought I was the one auditioning. Then one day it clicked… I’m not the one auditioning. If you wanna be in my life, you have to add to the love, peace, and joy I’ve already built for myself. “If you wanna love me right, you got some competition. You’re welcome to audition. I’m the competition.” I hope this song reminds you that you are worthy, exactly as you are. 💜 Go stream #competition and let me know your favorite lyric. 😊 Song written by me, @nellmaudemaynard & @joshsahunta Produced by @joshsahunta Mixed by @phasemixes Mastered by @gabegallucci Photography by @hayleymikell Artwork graphic by @amber_robb
