A few years ago I figured we should do a Q&A for PhDJ, but I’m not super into doing “marketing” things so I just invited EVERYONE — alumni, team, people are curious, people who know they’re not gonna join but just like our vibe … to create more of an open house / group hang environment where we get to talk about the stuff we love most.

This Tuesday!

I used to think DJs were literal gods — because what mere mortal could possibly catalyze such a cosmic cascade of delicious neurochemicals in my body??

Then I learned to DJ 😂

Turns out technophobic human me caught on just fine … then figured out how to make dance floors go boom.

Reliably.
Repeatedly.

THEN, after 8 years creating awe-dropping parties in NYC, I realized there was an actual method behind why they worked so well.

I started teaching it, and my students’ skills, artistry and impact went through the roof.

PhDJ was born.

Since then, 150+ regular humans have gone through this training and fundamentally shifted how they show up behind the decks — and in the world.

Our 5th cohort starts September 15 🪩

Agree or disagree?

Also, realized there's at least 2 typos in this, I guess just continued proof that I'm not AI 😂

@primal.disco SF VOLUME 1 was SOMETHING ELSE

On so many levels.

❤️‍🔥 To work with the beautiful @michaelvadacchino and together bring his vision into a new era with no bounds and no limits
❤️‍🔥 To stand behind the decks beside dear family and legendary DJs @michaelvadacchino, @tashablank , @xuxa_bluet & @jesshere____ . NEXT LEVEL FAMILY GATHERING
❤️‍🔥 To witness all the folks who answered the call to MOVE, SWEAT and LOVE with us
❤️‍🔥 To gain so many new friends that my heart is full
❤️‍🔥 To have @phdjschool family on the dancefloor with us from beginning to end

@tashablank thank you for making this all possible by being a fucking legendary groundbreaker
@monarchsf thank you for letting us get sweaty in your house

More soon, but for now just love.
