POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

I had the honor of attending and speaking at the #WeElevateAfrica event, where my panel discussed the exciting potential and difficulties facing Africa’s creative sector. As an independent filmmaker and actress, I gave advice on overcoming challenges such as limited funding and distribution and the need for Africans to unite, while also applauding the inventive solutions emerging from Africa’s booming film industry. Together, we are crafting a future in which Authentic African stories will shine on a global scale!

🇸🇱PHEBEAN SWILL RANDALL🇸🇱
Born In Bo, Sothern Sierra Leone, Phebe Swill was brought up in Freetown,
where she also got her education and crafted a niche for herself in the field of broadcasting.

Her Sierra Leonean parents Elizabeth Foray and Shefumi Swill (now deceased) were both former broadcasters at the then Sierra Leone Broadcasting Service (SLBS).

Phebean started her primary schooling at the Bern-Lynn Preparatory School but was intrrrupted by the rebel war after the capital city Freetown, was overran in 1999.

Her family fled to Guinea, and later Senegal where she continued with her schooling at the Refugee international school. Swill came back to Sierra Leone in 2002 and continued her education at the Dunnet Preparatory School where she sat to her NPSE,
then entered the John F. Kennedy International Academy Tower Hill, where she sat to her BECE and later transferred to the Pedmal International Academy, to take the WASCE exams.

During her five years of secondary schooling at the John F. Kennedy International Academy in Freetown, she did not only excel in class but in extracurricular activities as well. She joined the Cultural and Artistic Club which she eventually headed as lead cultural dancer in the last three years of her schooling.
She then proceeded to the Fourah Bay College University of Sierra Leone to pursue a Diploma course in Mass Communication.
In 2016 Phebean enrolled at the Limkokwing University of Creative Technology to pursue a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) course in Broadcasting and Journalism. She is also a proud Limkokwing Ambassador.
Phebean Swill is a talented singer,
actress and dancer. She must have gotten her passion from both parents who were at some point in time,
in the arts.
She is a reasonably creative and innovative young woman. To her close family and friends, Phebe is known for hard work.

They say she works very hard and plays very hard but places emphasis on productivity.

‘’I strive to be the best in everything I do and anywhere I find myself. But my biggest competitor is myself. I strive to break my own record.’’
