Love Lasts Forever.

A Lover’s Testimony isn’t a pivot… it’s a return.
To the sounds that raised me.
R&B in the living room, gospel in the morning, soul in my grandmother’s house.
Gumbo on the stove, Otis Redding in the air. Love everywhere.

Before rap, there was feeling.
And the songs that last a lifetime… are always about that.

I came up on Thug, Future, Uzi, Carti —
but even their biggest moments lean back into love.
There’s a pattern in what sticks.

Inspired by the feeling of artists like Dijon, Svn4vr, Zach Villere, Junior Mesa, Eric Clapton, Brent Faiyaz, Prince, & Otis Redding.

I know exactly where I stand now.

Don’t box me into anything I’ve outgrown.
If you’ve been here, you already know.

This is where I’m at.
This is what I believe in.

I love love.
This is the testimony.

A L T — out now.
Debut album later this year. ❤️

shoutout alz man if you’re a fan of the more upbeat and electronic sounding styles of the underground this album may be one for you

alz is a more relatively recent artist from the ors community but he just put out an album not too long ago titled ‘red petals’ and I wanted to give it a shout. some of these songs really remind me of an earlier travis scott-type of vibe with the way he utilizes his vocoder

my favorite is probably the second song I showcase here with thirteendegrees titled ‘balmain in harajuku.’ it’s something about those horns that makes thirteen unstoppable whenever he gets on these songs I swear

‘her eyes’ is a song with nearly 26k and I think one of the main things that drew people to it and overall to alz is how smooth a lot of these songs come across. they have a level of polish that makes it hard not to take it seriously, especially when you factor in the features on this as well with 1300saint also being another notable one on it. 42ceo also has his own song with alz titled ‘tell me now’ on here

kinda just goes to show you how many different styles and sounds there are in the underground with the names he congregates on this project but if you’re a fan let me know below family. shoutout alz again <3

los angeles ✨💝

from the gate of my flight, I’m overwhelmed with appreciation for everything this city gave me + made me, but more importantly, everyONE it gave me. the beautiful people I leave behind are my love letter to this city ❤️‍🩹
living, loving and working here has shaped, enlightened, encouraged, entertained…the simple truth is that there is so, so much to say, but none of it really matters as much as the memories & lessons I’ll be holding in my heart. toodles for now, LA 💌
