Had such a fun time playing music with @pherediaaaa yesterday, creating these little mini loop masterpieces and improvising over them! Got to record the beat with my tambourine drum that I’ve been teaching myself to play, and a fingerpicking chord progression on guitar!
(What, who am i?! 😂)

Like, we can do things we’re not “good” at or “trained” in and still have so much fun and make beautiful sounds IMPERFECTLY! 🥲

Music brings me so much joy, and getting to hear Paige’s unreal vocals just makes me feel like I’m at a private concert because WOW, what a star 🤩

I’ve been starting to get reacquainted with viola AND looping after lots of hard, complex feels and associations and long pauses! Ahh, viola, my love! I’ve missed u so much 🥹😍

Feels so special, and I’m so grateful for all the kind, sweet, supportive, aligned musical community and connections I’ve been making that have allowed me to heal and unmask and play ~ what I wish music and creativity had always been about since the beginning for me!

And now I get to be the loving adult music teacher, parent, and friend that I always needed, for myself and others. We’re getting there! 🥹💛

Speaking of, if you or anyone you know is interested in taking music lessons with me, don’t hesitate to reach out!

I teach violin, viola, singing, and songwriting - online and in person in LA. And if anyone is interested in jamming, performing, or making music together in any way, please come through!

A big part of sharing stuff like this is to show what I love to do, so I can attract the people who want to learn and collaborate with me. So here I am, with open arms, an open heart, and lots of creative joy and love to share. 🫶☺️💗🎤🎻

Recently I had the incredible pleasure of shooting one of my best friend’s shows celebrating the release of his very first solo ep (WHICH DROPS TMR). @eliot_shneider , this has been such an honor getting to see you grow as a musician and person, @the.sequoias is an insanely special project and I so glad I could be a small part of it.
