POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Thought it would be fun to assemble a little BTS reel of the Vogue Shopping Fall Guide, in limited print edition.

Since I paint over 80% larger than the printed size, here are some timelapse process vids, paintings pre-scan, the original sketch, and close-ups of some of the people and places—like my @robertwun bird girl (but with her pet pigeon) walking in Paris, Dogue Mag on the newsstand in Milan, etc. Unlikely anyone will see that stuff but I like it.

I actually love maps and feel entitled to call myself a cartographer. Let’s not dig too deeply into whether or not that’s valid, k?

Vogue Shopping made a guide to fall style in a limited-edition print format. I made this map to show locations where it’s available in NYC, Paris, London, and Milan! Am I an official cartographer now?

Scroll through to see some of the paintings and close-up vignettes. I made a version of @robertwun’s white bird couture dress, but in mine, it’s pigeons, and she’s walking her pet pigeon by Rue De Rivoli, Paris. At the newsstand in Milan, the headline board features Dogue. I like the little details, even if you can’t see them in the big map.

I’ll post a reel later with some timelapse and BTS. I paint 80%-100% larger than the actual print size to get all of the architectural and ancillary details.
