It’s a FULL HOUSE of dogs at @wavelength.wear and across Downtown Frederick!

Frederick is home to the BEST dogs in the world, so it’s only fair they should get their own bandannas to sport their love of our hometown. 😊

Your favorite downtown businesses are partnering with local animal rescue shelters to bring you the ultimate FIRST SATURDAY for pet lovers.

🐾This weekend, May 2🐾

🐶 Adoptable pets will be living their best lives inside downtown shops

🦴 Participating businesses will have activities, treats, and surprises for pets AND humans

🍬 Follow the trail through downtown Frederick and collect goodies along the way

Stop by the @wavelength.wear HQ at 122 N East St (on Shab Row, Downtown Frederick) to get your pup a Fredericktonian bandanna or grab yourself a Frederick dog-themed t-shirt, tote bag, or pair of socks.

Give some snuggles to the adoptable dogs from @bravebabesanimalrescue ready to meet YOU!

🐾 MAY FIRST SATURDAY IS FOR THE DOGS IN FREDERICK! 🐾

(And the cats. And the rabbits. And the hamsters + guinea pigs. All the pets, really.)

This Saturday — May 2 — animal rescues, shelters, and adoption centers will be set up in businesses around Downtown Frederick to tell you about their important work and introduce you to some delightful little friends who are available to join your family.

@wavelength.wear is thrilled to host @bravebabesanimalrescue at our place on Saturday, 11 AM - 6 PM. 122 N East St. on Shab Row. 🐶

Join us for some pets, some snuggles, and some treats for a great cause!

We all know how toxic celebrity influencer culture can be, which is why we were reluctant to hire @philbert.of.frederick to represent our signature line of @wavelength.wear leashes, collars, and stuffed bones created in partnership with Frederick’s own @downtowndogmd. 🐾

Thankfully, our working relationship has been smooth so far — no accidents, no lawsuits, and only minimal screaming. 😉

Checkout Philbert’s collection at our Downtown Frederick @wavelength.wear HQ. He guarantees the pup in your life will like what you bring them. 🐶🦴

We love dogs, you love dogs, and dogs deserve cool stuff. 🐾 😎

That’s why we are soooooooo excited to collaborate with @downtowndogmd on a line of signature @wavelength.wear leashes, collars, and stuffed toys!

Just a few of the many reasons we love @downtowndogmd and their products:

📍 Small business based in Frederick

💁‍♀️ Woman-owned

🍃 Hand dyed leashes & collars are made of 100% organic cotton rope, grown in the U.S. and handcrafted in Frederick

👍 Permanent, non-toxic dye that doesn’t require harsh chemicals

🌎 Eco-friendly squeaky dog toys are handmade with natural upholstery-grade cotton and linen canvas

♻️ Each bone is stuffed with recycled polyester filling and a sturdy squeaker

AND @downtowndogmd is celebrating their 🎉10th Anniversary🎉 this month, so they’ve had a decade to perfect all the fabulous things they create for your special pup!

Philbert is, of course, a 400 year-old Bavarian forest dweller who knows the secrets of the universe, but according to your human calendar, today he has completed just a single year of existence.

He wears this tiny hat as a reminder of the eternal essence of youth.
