𝙲𝚘𝚕𝚕𝚎𝚌𝚝𝚎𝚍: 𝚃𝚑𝚎 𝙶𝚛𝚊𝚙𝚑𝚒𝚌 𝙻𝚊𝚗𝚐𝚞𝚊𝚐𝚎 𝚘𝚏 𝚝𝚑𝚎 𝚂𝚝𝚛𝚎𝚎𝚝𝚜 is an immersive exhibition that transforms the traditional retail environment into a museum-grade archive of shop-able graphic ephemera, underground print media, and rare vintage apparel. The curation bypasses standard vintage nostalgia to focus on the foundational design language of the ‘80s and ‘90s. Together, these analog relics preserve the unfiltered, DIY spirit that laid the visual groundwork for modern streetwear. York Work Shop (@york.nyc) is a Brooklyn-based creative agency and brand founded by twin brothers, Phil & Raffie Gordon. In 2024, I designed a website that unifies the YWS creative studio with their online store of curated objects and made-in-USA apparel.⁣ ⁣ Designed in Figma for development in Shopify, the site uses the YWS wordmark as its main navigation, guiding users through a three-part experience: YORK, WORK, and SHOP. This logic defines the layout and supports a modular framework for evolving content.⁣ ⁣ [ Credits ]⁣ Creative Direction: @philgordon UX / UI Design: @rspny ⁣ Content Direction: @made_in_newyork Shopify Development: @lacroixluver22 ⁣ Logo Design: @lukas_warm Video: @joe_pohle, @stephenmmarino

The SHOP section brings YWS’s curated objects and limited-run apparel into the broader brand experience. Rather than functioning as a separate storefront, it extends the site’s design language and reinforces the studio’s ongoing exploration of product and creativity. The result is a seamless integration of retail and agency within one cohesive system.⁣ ⁣ York Work Shop (@york.nyc) is a Brooklyn-based creative agency and brand founded by twin brothers, Phil & Raffie Gordon. @statusaudio makes high-quality, minimalist audio products built around sound performance, premium materials, and thoughtful design. Since 2015, I’ve worked with Status across nearly every aspect of their visual and digital identity—including logo design, packaging systems, product ID, websites, and more. ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ Visual Identity — The Status visual identity is built on restraint. From the logotype to the product packaging, every decision favors clarity, neutrality, and longevity. The system includes a core wordmark, a recurring soundwave pattern, secondary brandmarks, product ID treatments, and a minimal color palette, all carefully developed to support a no-nonsense, audio-first philosophy. ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ #branding #brandidentity #visualidentity #graphicdesign #logodesign #branddesign #casestudy #audio #headphones #earbuds⁣⁣

Love is in the air, from a Brooklyn backyard to a beach somewhere. I drew a wedding invite for Phil and Ania, a sunset in colored pencil and in watercolor.
