What if dancers had a resource for the part of their journey we don’t always see?

That’s the why behind Terry Hyde’s Resilient Minds. Looking after your mental wellbeing matters too.

Now updated and revised, the E-book is available to buy from the 1st of October 📖

Get your copy ( via our link on our bio) on the 1st of October or please share this with someone who might need it.

Eating disorders don’t have a particular look.

What we see on the outside can never tell us the full story of someone’s experience.

Let’s challenge the assumptions, listen without judgement and make space for people to speak openly and seek support when they need it.

If you need support, follow the link to Terry’s website in our bio.

The performing arts can come with pressures around appearance, comparison, comments, injury and performance…

But there is never one simple explanation for disordered eating or eating disorders.

Everyone’s experience is different.

Creating spaces where people feel able to speak openly, without judgement, matters.

If anything in this post resonates with you and you feel you need some extra support, please see the link in our bio or our story to find out more about the support Terry offers⬆️

You don’t have to have it all figured out before you reach out..

If you’re struggling, that matters.

You don’t have to carry it alone.

If you’d like to explore support, you can find out more about Terry’s support via the link in our bio or our story 👆🏼

This week, we’re talking about disordered eating and eating disorders and the ways they can affect dancers and performers.

If you’re struggling with food, your body or your relationship with eating, you don’t have to keep it to yourself.

You don’t need to have all the answers to ask for support.

You’re not alone.

A week of looking at anxiety a little differently.

What have you noticed about yours?

And if it’s persistent or overwhelming, reaching out for professional support is always an option. #dancer #mentalhealth #support #anxiety

Sometimes we’re so focused on making anxiety go away that we don’t stop to notice what might be contributing to it.

You don’t have to find an answer. Just getting curious can be a starting point…

What if anxiety isn’t always about what you think it’s about?

Sometimes, looking beneath the surface can help us understand our experience a little differently..
