Another successful Roberts-Carson Doll Society Club Meeting. This month’s theme was The County Fair so I crafted some county fair rides like a Ferris wheel, a carousel, and a water ride/ coaster. Our project was making some fair food like funnel cake and pretzels using baking soda, cornstarch and water. I forgot a crucial step (microwave for 20 seconds) so it was a fail at first but in the end the doll food turned out quite nicely. 📣 A big shout out to my club members that are here on Dollstagram: @barbiegirl21244 @darknpurty @designerslifebarbie @jones4dollies @kencollector @marlllie @nikkit2718 @philippespetites @the_barbie_mom

So earlier this month my doll club RCDS hosted their monthly meeting and meet up. It was a Mardi Gras/ Valentine’s Day themed event and my OOAK peaches and cream Barbie made her debut. She explained to Ken that she just wanted to take a picture at the kissing booth no kissing needed on account of the Barbie peering at her from the bushes! I wore my Mardi Gras mask and beads and did not show my 🍈🍈 to get them… this time 😉 One of our beloved members had a diy dress making demo which I was excited to try out. What do you think? We were told to bring a doll we didn’t mind messing il@for this demo so I brought my EMT dup. Unfortunately, I wound up with the baby in the king cake. **see photo** So not only did she come back home with a new dress she came back a new mom. She was not happy! I will be working on mini king baby’s onsies next week cause agin this baby came bucket nekid!

🌸🌺🩷Before & After - brunette number six ponytail this lovely lady is ready for a sundress and a stroll through the streets of Paris! Isn’t she dreamy with her pink lips? I reset her ponytail and touched up her paint. I added a little bit of blush and with most all of my dolls, as long as they have earring holes, I give them nylon post/safe pearl earrings before I send them home, the stall is so delicate and sweet and dainty! I really enjoyed working on her. She was tucked in her box and dropped off at the post office yesterday. I’m very excited for her owner to get her back. There were four different orders that shipped yesterday. She is part of one of them. There were a couple of dolls that I did not take before and after of because it was just their hair. And quite honestly I just forgot. I do that a lot. I get busy working and I forget to take before pictures. And after picture doesn’t mean anything if you don’t have a before picture to compare it to, right? I’m so bad about that! 🤦🏻‍♀️😬 🌸💖🤗💖🌸 #colormagicbarbie #GillyGalsMakeOver #bubblecutbarbie #vintagebarbie #restorebarbie #restoredoll #barbie #vintageponytailbarbie #modbarbie #tntbarbie #makeovermonday #franciedoll #ponytailbarbie #ponytail #americangirlbarbie #dollsofinstagram #instadolls #vintagetoys #barbiecollections #barbiecollector #bubblecutbarbie #barbiecollection #dollcollection #dollcollector #kendoll #princessbarbie #vintagebarbie #americangirldoll #americangirlbarbie #skipper #GillyGals #QuickCurlBarbie

Before & After - brunette Midge 💖🩷🌸🌺🌷 this darling got a bath and her hair shampooed and reset. I then touched up her face paint and softened her look. I added a little bit of blush. Isn’t she darling!? Midge can be so sweet when she has her paint softened to take away that goofy look! Lol!🤭 what do you think of her now?! She’s headed home as we speak! I dropped her off at the post office yesterday. 🌸💖🤗💖🌸 #colormagicbarbie #GillyGalsMakeOver #bubblecutbarbie #vintagebarbie #restorebarbie #restoredoll #barbie #vintageponytailbarbie #modbarbie #tntbarbie #makeovermonday #franciedoll #ponytailbarbie #ponytail #americangirlbarbie #dollsofinstagram #instadolls #vintagetoys #barbiecollections #barbiecollector #bubblecutbarbie #barbiecollection #dollcollection #dollcollector #kendoll #princessbarbie #vintagebarbie #americangirldoll #americangirlbarbie #skipper #GillyGals #QuickCurlBarbie
