Where do I even begin?

I joined this expedition without any expectations, not knowing that a simple “where are you from?” would lead to conversations, shared moments, inside jokes, and memories with people from different parts of the world 🌍

Thank you @mosttraveledpeople @thepangea.app and @philippine.global.explorers , I came to Garabagh not only to explore a place but also to meet people who would make this journey even more meaningful ♥️

To everyone who made this expedition special, thank you!

For the conversations, the laughter, the singing, and the little moments in between. I’m leaving Garabagh with a deeper understanding of the place and a heart full of gratitude for the people I got to share it with.

Until our paths meet again ♥️

Why Garabagh?

For the past 35 years, the region (formerly either Nagorno-Karabakh or Artsakh, depending who had control) was caught in a brutal war between Armenia and Azerbaijan. A framework for a peace agreement was signed between them last year, and there is a lot of rebuilding to do, including the incredibly important work of removing the million or so landmines left behind.

It's still mostly closed to foreigners, and with the help of some incredible folks at MTP, Pangea, Phillipine Global Explorers and the Azerbaijani government, a lucky few of us got approval to tour the region and observe the rebuilding and the demining operations. The road we started out on yesterday wasn't here last year, turning what was a multi-hour detour into 15 minutes. Today we went over a mountain pass that will be replaced by a tunnel in the next year or two.

We left in a convoy of 13 SUVs and a police escort at 4 AM yesterday out of Baku for the 4.5-hour drive to the region, with strict instructions not to so much as wander to the side of the road for a piss if we want to return with all the parts with which we we came, along with a promise that we'll get to watch the pros make them go 💥.

Yesterday was an 18-hour day after having spent the night out 😁, today looks to be a little less hectic. We'll be covering a lot of ground over the next few days before heading back to Baku.

More to come!

It was only a vision. Now, it’s becoming a reality 🌍✈️

Who would’ve thought that leaving a career I spent almost a decade building and taking a leap into content creation would lead me to opportunities like these?

Never in my life did I imagine this would be the path I’d take. It’s true when they say the biggest opportunities come when you have the courage to pursue what genuinely sets your heart on fire.

Feeling incredibly grateful for the people, communities, and experiences that continue to remind me why I chose this path 🤍

Time is the actual experience of being alive. Every decision to spend time travelling is literally trading a non-renewable piece of your life for something else. When you frame choices through time rather than cost, the ROI on how you spend your day looks completely different.

P.S: Mamimiss natin yung backpacking after graduation!

P.P.S: Napuntahan din natin ang Dapitan kung saan na-excile si Rizal. Kala ko sa visualization lang sa subject na Rizal nuon. Naalala ko tuloy yung "Pinoy Henyo" na surprise quiz nuon. 😂

Paris, you felt like a dream I once watched from a distance. ✨

From a small-town girl in the Philippines to standing beneath the lights of Paris—sometimes I still have to pinch myself.

This trip reminded me that dreams don’t always arrive gently. Sometimes you have to walk through exhaustion, missed connections, long plane/train rides, and uncertain moments to finally arrive somewhere your younger self could only imagine.

And then… there I was.
In Paris.
Living the pages I once only read about.

Some dreams are worth the tired feet.
Some journeys are worth every detour.

Merci, Paris.
You reminded me that the world is far more beautiful when you dare to go see it. 🥂✨

Dancing in Tofana, Cortina, with the mountains as our backdrop. 🏔️✨💃🏻

Sometimes the most beautiful memories are the ones where you simply let go — laughing, dancing, being silly, and soaking in the magic of the moment.

With @malditame and @vanace03 surrounded by the Dolomites, we weren’t just sightseeing… we were living. 🤍

A little mountain magic, a lot of laughter, and a memory I’ll carry forever. ✨
